For the Oregon Justice Resource Center by Kamp Grizzly.

While working at Kamp Grizzly Aaron helped manage the agency’s relationship with the Oregon Justice Resource Center, for whom Kamp offered pro bono work.

In 2019 we supported the OJRC’s mission to help revisit a decades old law in Oregon that adversely affected many youth offenders and tried them as adults. The 1995 law became especially harsh to communities of color with Black youth 26 times more likely to be indicted than white youth.

This film was produced to bring attention to the issue ahead of the forthcoming Oregon senate meeting where the bill was going to be discussed.

The film was a success and local legislators began working on revisions to the bill shortly thereafter with a complete repeal of the law going into effect in the fall of 2019.
